Kitsap County Democrats Auction 2024

We’re looking for donations to our auction which will be held during our Kitsap Democrats Annual Dinner & Auction on Saturday April 20th, 2024.

Money raised from your generous auction donations help us support our Democratic candidates and initiatives, as well as allow us to be a visible organization in local community events here in Kitsap County. Our organization is powered by volunteers who are dedicated to saving Democracy and electing good Democrats. Your help is essential to carrying on this work.

Silent Auction Items

Auction donation items from previous years include tickets to see an artist or show or a concert. Tickets to sporting events such as the Seahawks or the Sounders are popular as well. 

What is an activity or item that you enjoy? We’ve had members donate bread baking classes, compost making classes and crafting afternoons. If you have a skill you’d like to teach others, please consider donating an afternoon of your time and talent to our auction.

Dinner parties have been popular if you love to entertain.  Members have hosted high teas, seafood dinner parties, fried chicken luncheons. Showcase your culinary skills as well as building community with your fellow Democrats.

Think about  a local restaurant or business that you enjoy. Consider purchasing a gift certificate or asking the business owner if they’d  donate a gift certificate to our auction. Gift certificates are a great way  for your favorite local business to advertise to our Democrats and are always a popular item in our auctions. 

Gift baskets are popular in our auctions as well. Events or experiences paired with a basket filled with your favorite wine or cheese, or a book with something connected to the item are wonderful as well.

Each auction item donated will include the name of the person who provided it. 

Live Auction Items

Live auction items are bigger items such as a lunch with an Elected Official, vacation donations, paintings, art. These items will be featured during our dinner program and we will be accepting bids from the floor for these unique and special items. In previous years, Democrats have donated timeshare weeks, special sports events tickets, a stay at a vacation cabin and framed photography prints.

• Jot down a description and if possible, share a memory or idea about the item: “(my favorite dessert” or “ I love this wine” or “ you have to try this [favorite dish]”

• Come up with a monetary (fair market value) for the item
