 Housing and healthcare are fundamental to thriving communities, yet rising rents and lack of healthcare access are pushing too many families into crisis. At KIAC, we see the impact firsthand—parents struggling to afford even a single room for their children, mobile home residents losing stability due to skyrocketing lot rents, and community members forced to choose between medical recovery and keeping a roof over their heads. These challenges are real, but together, we can push for policies that prioritize people over profits.
